Tim seems to have a magic touch with that. And many of the good reviews use the word “visual” a lot. So, if the consensus ends up being that it looks good but is ultimately bad, it will promote the most important message of all. At its core, Dark Shadows is about heart. It’s about love and yearning and regret and relationships and the past. And how we manage the fact that, as Magnolia teaches us, we may be through with the past, but the past is never through with us.
