Well, in a way Collinsport will be with you as you will see Mitchell Ryan, Kathryn Leigh Scott, and Ben Cross 🙂 So you won’t be all alone without familiar friends you left behind. Also, will you be seeing the original series as it was first aired, or will you see the remastered edition with new special effects? I really love the remastered myself because it added to what was there instead of making jarring “new” scenes like the Star Wars SE did.

  Right-o! I think I’ll go remastered with TNG, but original effects with TOS. You know, I wrote for Cousin Barnabas about KLS in Who Watches the Watchers….

    Really?! I will have to look for it on CHS site! Thanks for letting me know! //Sounds like a good idea. I never knew that they remastered TNG. I am really looking forward to this project! I wonder how “The Cage” will fit in or if it will with this project. Can’t wait to follow along!

    The Cage fits in with a sense of poetry that everyone who has seen the structure of the project seems to really, really like.

  Yeah, there’s a reason. Several. I’ll go into them when my part of BRIDE OF MONSTER SERIAL is finished by me. In short, a third consecutive year of DS all summer would drive my friends crazy. Given the intense nature of these things, having friends who are motivated to visit is a very balancing element. I had a different project planned, but that went kinda wonky. So, this is something that had always been on the table, but I’d never figured out how to do with the lack of variety that Week 3 of 5 of VOYAGER would have created if done consecutively. And then I had an insight of a totally different way to watch the TREK saga. I want to find out a number of things about what is, for many, the Mothet Text. especially if approached with the innocence so many of us had when making “first contact,” with the shows.
