A group of college students gets lost in a storm during their snowmobiling trip and takes shelter in an abandoned sanitarium which, unbeknown to them, is home to three deformed cannibals. When their transfer bus crashes in a West Virginia forest, a group of convicts and a corrections officer meet a rafter who is on the run from cannibalistic hillbillies who have murdered her friends.

Danny attends the resort for a family inheritance along with his girlfriend Toni, her brother Rod and their friends; Vic, Charlie, Bryan, and his girlfriend Jillian. Upon arrival, the group were welcomed by Sally and Jackson but unbeknownst to them, the cannibals and Jackson murders Agnes Fields, an elderly hotel guest at the hallway. While Danny's friends explore the hotel, Jackson takes him out in the woods to hunt.
